Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a comparison of the One Plus Nord to the Pixel 4a.
The Pixel 4a has six Gigabytes of Ram, a 5.8-inch 60 Hz screen, a Snapdragon 730G, and one twelve-megapixel camera. This is a compact budget phone that has a plastic back and only one camera, but it's one camera is an excellent camera and it gets at least three years of software support. The phone has 18 watts of wired charging and 64 or 128 GB of non-expandable storage. This phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack and 5G option.
The OnePlus Nord has a 6.44-inch 90 Hz screen and 6/8/12 Gigabytes of Ram and a 48-megapixel main camera with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It also has an 8-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. This is similar to the camera arrangement of the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G. This phone also has a Snapdragon 765G processor and 128 Gb or 256 Gb of nonexpandable storage. It also features 30 watt wired charging and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The Oneplus Nord sounds like the better buy. Let us find out if it is.
Screen.
If you like smaller screens then pick the pixel 4a but if a larger screen does not bother you the 90hz screen on the OnePlus Nord would be the better choice. Nord 1 Pixel 0

The Pixel 4a has less storage than the Nord but it does have unlimited "Storage Saver" Google Photos Storage. The Nord does have a higher 256 GB storage option. Tie
Camera.
The Nord has four cameras however only two of them are really useful (main and the wide-angle camera). The depth camera only helps the main cameras and the macro camera is a low-resolution camera. Battery and Charging.
The Battery on the Nord is bigger ( 4,115mAh vs 3,140mAh ) but only slightly better because the Pixel optimizes the battery and the Pixels screen is smaller. However, the charging speed is faster on the Nord than on the Pixel. (30 watts vs 18 watts) Nord 2 Pixel 1
Speed.
The Pixel has a lesser processor (730 vs 765) and less Ram (6 vs 6/8/12) than the Nord. The Nord is just faster. Nord 3 Pixel 1
Security.
The Pixel features at least three years of Android updates and a Titan M Security Chip. The Nord also should get three years of software updates. Nord 3 Pixel 2
Ports
The Nord and the Pixel have USB-c while the Pixel also features a headphone jack. The headphone jack is important to some people so the Pixel wins this round. Nord 3 Pixel 3
Conclusion.
The Nord and Pixel are both good budget phones for different people. If the camera is important to you or you like small phones, or if you like Google's Software and Ecosystem pick the Pixel. If onboard storage, RAM, and the screen matter the most to you choose the Nord. However, if you live in North America you cannot get this Nord. The Oneplus Nord's frame is made out of plastic, so it bends easily. For durability concerns, the Pixel 4a is better.
