Samsung Ultra phones are supposed to be the best of the best and show the best, non-foldable technology Samsung has to offer. The Samsung Note is supposed to showcase the best of Samsung's features, added with the extra productivity advantage of a large screen and an S-Pen. The S22 Ultra checks off some of the features: has a large screen, and the S-Pen, BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE A microSD CARD SLOT. For example, the S9+ has a 6.2-inch screen and a microSD card slot, but Note 9 had a 6.4-inch screen and an S-Pen for extra productivity features. The Note 20 Ultra also had a screen as large as the S20 Ultras, and the phone optimized the camera features, upgraded the design, and included an S-Pen. The S22 Ultra is repeating history again. In 2015, Samsung released the Samsung Note 5 and S6 series without a microSD card slot, and it did not. Because of this, the Samsung S6 series did not sell well. For further parallel, there was not a Note 6 released.
How can Samsung Redemy This?
1. Bring Back The Note!
Samsung could make a large and small screened version of the Samsung Note every two years. These Note phones would feature the best of the best of Samsungs technology, and feature a microSD card slot.
2. Make all Ultra Phones Have microSD Card Slots.
Ultra phones should feature the best of the best and the latest and greatest technology. It does not cost Samsung anything to integrate a microSD card slot onto their phones. An Ultra phone with an S-Pen, a microSD card slot, and a terabyte of storage would destroy an iPhone on features.
3. Put The Slot On All Samsung Phones, especially Foldables!!
This is the easiest and simplest method. Adding the slots back to all Samsung cellphones does not really cost Samsung anything and would give it a competitive advantage over other Android phones and iPhones.
Here is a Plan Samsung Could Do.
