What is The Galaxy Book3 Ultra?

    Samsung showcased the Galaxy Book3 Ultra at its Unpacked Event. The Galaxy Book Ultra is a high-end laptop. Here is what we know about the device. 

    The device ships with Windows 11, but probably can run Linux as well. Also, Windows 11 supports WSL (Windows Subsystem on Linux) which will allow you to get a terminal on the device. 

    The laptop has a 16-inch (aspect ratio 16:10) screen. The screen has 400 nits of brightness and an adaptive 120 HZ screen. This means that the screen will refresh 48 times a second when something is static. If you are scrolling the screen will refresh 120 times a second. This is good for battery life. The screen is a 3K (2880 x 1800) screen. This means that it will be high definition and you will not see any pixels on the screen. The device is not touchscreen, 

    The laptop has an Intel i7 OR i9 chip inside (13th gen). It also comes with, “NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPU / NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 Laptop GPU,” per Samsung Newsroom. The device has 16 or 32 GB of RAM that (probably) cannot be expanded Per XDA developers.   

    The device has a storage capacity of 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. There is also a PCIe expansion slot. There is a Micro SD card slot and one USB A slot. There are 2 Thunderbolt 4 (USB C) ports and the device charges over USB-C. According to Samsung, the charger can charge Galaxy devices that have a USB C port!!
