These '25' mile walkie-talkies are pieces of junk. They do not do what is advertised, you have to put your mouth too close to the microphone hole, and they are way too loud!! First of all these walkie-talkies will not work over 25 miles 'in an open field' and three miles 'in the city' I measured it on Google Earth and it cut out at .64 miles on a full charge!! Static and then nothing.
Second of all these walkie-talkies make you put your mouth right up to the microphone and leave NO margin for error. If you are not directly over the hole you will hear static. This is hard to show to people which gives it a terrible ease of use score. Lastly, changing channels and volume makes so much noise. There is no 'mute' function. and covering the speakers doesn't really do much. At least the 'call function' works well.
In conclusion, these walkie-talkies are borderline scams. I would not buy them again. God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!
