Samsung High-Resolution Mode Needs To Get Better!!!
Samsung's has 12, 50, and 200 MP modes on its S24 Ultra. However, all the best features are locked to the 12 MP mode. For instance motion mode, which can be a huge help to capture scenes that you may have missed a few seconds of or the original photo is blurry due to Samsung’s shutter lag. Speaking of shutter lag, 200 MP mode can become overexposed and blurry; 50 MP can look better than the 12 MP mode but is slower.
Unfortunately, tools such as Portrait Mode, the new Live Effect mode, and even filters do not work on higher-resolution modes. Though filters can be applied in post-production. Samsung should also have a zoom option for its higher MP options as well. For instance, zooming in at 5x in 12 MP mode activates the dedicated zoom camera, while doing the same in 50 and 200 MP modes just using the crop functionality of the sensor. While this can be nice getting the option to use the real zoom lens would be great.
Hopefully, Samsung will implement these changes. God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!
