I was chatting with Gemini Live and wanted to test its capabilities. I decided a good test would be an Adventures In Odyssey/kid TV-style spy story. (Zoey 101, iCarly etc.) Not too hard, right?
Wrong. Here is the chat.
First, I talked to her about computers and research on the Internet. After it came up with some satisfactory answers, I switched subjects and asked about computers' use in espionage. Gemini handled it well, saying,

I asked it about using computers as a teen spy, and it did a great job, though it was a bit weird. It told me to set up a coded website to send messages and encrypt them and to have channels on the site where agents could communicate.
After this, I asked it for a story about a teen spy agency in school who is using computers to help with the missions. Sound familiar??? #SSALTW?? haha. It then gave me this wacky short 1-paragraph story about teens using a DRONE to catch kids cheating on a test.....
I had technology and theories such as the Rizz Ray, I codenamed GCAM, had foreign policy like 'teen dating is a threat to national security' claimed the high school Capitol would be stormed by Maverick.....never in 1000s years would I claim that you could catch kids cheating on a test using a freaking DRONE!! That makes no sense.
I pressed back on the AI assistant (who is still yapping, she tends to interrupt), and she defends herself by saying it's imaginary, so I tell her to be realistic. She then claims to use security cameras to catch the cheating.....
Okay, kinda believable...but how do they get the login....why are there cameras in the room...and it's low res...good grief. I push back again, and then Gemini defaults to a tech detective club....which is stupid.
I then keep pushing back. Tell her to listen up and finally ask for a simple story about a HS president spy in an election, and the other side is trying to hijack its campaign....it tells me...It cannot for sAfteY reasons... Stupid Gemini.
In conclusion Gemeni Live would not listen to me and has a hard time communicating. It also cannot create a recent spy story. If you want one I guess you will just have to read ssaltw.blogspot.com
