Gemini Live, Copiliot and ChatGPT's advanced voice features have recently been rolled out, each offering distinct advantages. In my brief testing, Gemini Live stands out with a more pleasant and faster voice, making conversations smoother. In contrast, ChatGPT’s voice tends to be curt and slightly slower, which can feel a bit more irritating. However, ChatGPT allows for faster interruptions, a helpful feature for controlling interactions.
Interestingly, Copilot, which got a redesign offers better voice nuances —despite using the same tech as ChatGPT, giving it an edge in overall quality but it still lags behind Google's Gemeni. Additionally, while Copilot's image generation tech is faster, it does lose some advanced features along the way. Interestingly, only ChatGPT was able to generate an article when I was talking to it using the new voice models, but it did not save.
