I’ve been using Samsung’s AI-powered keyboard for a while now, and while it has great potential, it’s definitely not perfect. One of the most annoying issues is how often it glitches when I’m trying to edit text. Even when there’s nothing remotely offensive in what I’m typing, the AI sometimes glitches and times out, and it can be pretty frustrating.
The other thing that bugs me is how censorious it is. For anything it decides is “offensive,” it goes way too far in trying to block or change the text. I get why some people might want filters, but it feels unnecessary—especially the offline verson. It should be uncensored.
Samsung’s keyboard AI has a lot of promise, but until they fix the glitches and loosen up on the censorship, it’s not quite living up to its potential.
