Life Bible Review

TheTechBoy, March 10, 2025

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special review of Life Bible, created by Tecarta Incorporated, a company known for its wide range of mobile Bible applications. The app is free to use, with in-app purchases and ads.

Life Bible is well-designed, featuring a rotating panel that highlights the Verse of the Day, a Touchpoint (a daily question supported by scripture), and a devotional. The app supports multiple Bible translations, including NLT, NIV, KJV, CSB, ESV, NASB, and versions in other languages. If you’re willing to spend a bit, you can purchase a study Bible, which includes added notes and commentary for deeper research.

Annotations are simple and intuitive, with easy-to-use highlighting and note-taking functions. Fortunately, granular color control is available—something that was in the Bible App until a recent update. Additionally, at the bottom of the screen, there’s an Explain key. Tapping a verse here pulls up quotes from study Bibles and any relevant Bible Project videos about that passage

My favorite feature is the Touchpoint tool. It contains 500 questions, allowing you to type in a topic and see what the Bible says about it. Topics are also organized alphabetically, so you don’t even have to type to browse. While it’s not as expansive as GotQuestions, it is well-integrated into the app. The app loads faster than the new YouVersion Bible app, and navigating the UI is simple. There is a scrolling Bible version from Genesis to Revelation, where you pick verses like setting a phone’s alarm. There are also options for ‘more experienced’ Bible readers, similar to the navigation system in the Bible App.

I have not encountered any advertisements inside the Bible itself, only when reading external content. Additionally, the app offers Bible reading plans, with a specific “Book of the Month.” For March, the featured book is Ruth, which comes with a four-day reading plan. For those looking to study the Bible on the go, Life Bible is a solid choice. God bless, and Tech Talk To You Later!!!
