OnePlus 15T Small Frame Immense Power
OnePlus has released a compact phone with a 7,500 mAh battery and 100W wired charging. If optimized well, this is a disastrous blow to Samsung, which has kept its battery capacity locked at 5,000 mAh for six years—dating back to the S20 Ultra, which launched pre-COVID when I was still in 8th grade.

The new phone, dubbed the OnePlus 15T, is compact with a 6.32-inch display, slightly larger than the Samsung S26 series of devices. The latest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, is under the hood along with a vapor cooling system, so it should not overheat when playing games, taking photos, or watching YouTube in picture-in-picture mode. It’s been pretty hot lately, and my S24 Ultra does tend to get hot to the touch and often closes the YouTube PiP. I’d be interested in seeing if this phone, with its much smaller frame, does the same.
Speaking of heat, the device can get up to 3,500 nits of brightness and features a 3.5x optical zoom lens and a 50 MP main shooter. There are only two cameras, but that is double what the iPhone 17e will offer, along with a much larger battery. On the software side, it is running Android 16 with its custom ColorOS skin and is slated to receive 4 years of updates, taking it up to Android 20. It also comes with 16 GB of RAM and 1 terabyte of storage. Unfortunately for our US readers, this device is only slated to launch in China, though it could roll out to other regions later. God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!
