How to Do The CUBE Effect In Motion Ninja

Motion Ninja is one of the most advanced video editors available on mobile phones today. It lets you apply high-end effects to your videos that are usually only found in professional desktop editing software all directly on your phone. It’s also one of the few apps that truly takes advantage of your device’s processing power. One of my favorite effects is the Cube Logo effect. It turns a flat image into a rotating 3D cube. While the result looks impressive, the effect can be a bit finicky to set up. Here’s exactly how to use it:

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Import your video by tapping the blue + button.
  2. Tap Overlay and add your image.
  3. Tap the purple Mixer button, import your image again, and use the white handle to extend the image for as long as you want it to appear on screen.
  4. Tap the image → EditFX.
  5. In the search bar, type “cube” and select Rounded Cube.

Important: By default, the effect will only last for 1 second. Make sure you drag the blue handle on the timeline so the effect matches the full duration of your image.

  1. Now edit the keyframes (the diamond icons). Tap the second diamond, then tap the purple negative diamond, and finally tap the diamond at the very end and add a keyframe.
  2. This step is crucial: Change the Rotation value. The higher the number, the faster the cube will spin.
  3. Preview the animation. Once you’re happy with the speed and timing, export your video.

Sometimes this effects will lag or you may have to restart the application or go back to get to to work. God Bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!!
