Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, with sales beginning Aug. 7 in select markets and expanding to 106 countries. The company said pre-orders for the lineup rose more than 30% from the previous generation. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features an 8-inch internal display, a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5,000 mAh battery and 45W charging.

Samsung says the standard Fold8 weighs 201 grams, while the Flip8 adds a redesigned cover display with Gemini access and a 50-megapixel camera. Samsung also introduced the rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra2, which has a titanium case, 800 mAh battery and up to 5,000 nits of display brightness, alongside the lighter Galaxy Watch9 for everyday wellness and sleep tracking. Both watches use the Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform. Buyers of the new Galaxy Z phones will receive a six-month Google AI Pro trial with 5 TB of cloud storage, according to Samsung.
