Apple Patches Zero-Day Vulnerability Affecting CoreGraphics Engine

Apple has issued emergency security patches for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 following reports of an actively exploited zero-day vulnerability in its rendering pipeline.

The vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2026-86950, targets the device’s core graphics engine. If successfully exploited through maliciously crafted media files, the flaw allows attackers to trigger arbitrary code execution and exfiltrate sensitive data directly from memory.
